Privacy policy
The short version. The app has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything it knows about you stays on your iPhone. We, Genovaflow, never receive it.
This policy explains what the Undaze iPhone app ("the app") and this website do with information about you. The app is published by Genovaflow ("we", "us").
What we collect
Nothing. The app does not send any personal information, usage data or device identifiers to us or to anyone else. There is no sign-up and no account. We do not run servers for the app, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code.
What stays on your iPhone
To work, the app keeps some information locally on your device. None of it leaves the device.
- What you choose to block. When you pick apps, categories or websites, iOS gives the app opaque Apple tokens. The app uses them to apply blocks, but it cannot read them as names, so it cannot tell which apps or sites you picked.
- Your settings and progress. Block lists, daily focus schedules, strict mode and your streaks.
- Unlock records. When you earn an unlock, the app records it for today so it can enforce your daily budget and end each 15-minute window.
- Screen Time Reveal quiz answers. The answers you give during setup, and the result they produce, stay on your device.
The app cannot read your real screen-time numbers. The Screen Time Reveal is calculated only from the answers you type into the quiz.
Steps and Motion & Fitness
If you choose a short walk to earn an unlock, the app asks for Motion & Fitness permission. It then reads your step count on demand from Apple's CoreMotion framework, on the device. Step counts are not stored beyond today's unlock record, and they are never sent anywhere. You can turn this permission off at any time in the iOS Settings app; the other ways to earn an unlock keep working.
Screen Time access
The app uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to block apps and websites. Granting access lets the app apply and lift blocks. It does not give the app your browsing history, messages or the content of any app. You can revoke this access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
The shareable Reveal card
The card is made on your device. It is only shared if you choose to share it, using the standard iOS share sheet, and it goes wherever you send it. Once shared, the place you shared it to handles it under its own policy.
Purchases
Subscriptions and free trials are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple tells the app on your device whether your subscription is active. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
This website
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare processes standard server logs (such as your IP address) to deliver it and protect it from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Email to support@undaze.app is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our inbox. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.
Your choices and rights
Because we hold no information about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. To delete everything the app has stored, use Settings › Erase all data in the app, or delete the app from your iPhone. You can also revoke Screen Time and Motion & Fitness access at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Screen Time report, Salah mode and erasing your data
Screen Time today. The Home screen can show your real Screen Time for today. Apple draws that card inside a private system view: the numbers never reach Undaze, are not stored by us and never leave your iPhone.
Salah mode. If you turn it on, Undaze stores the city and calculation method you choose on your iPhone so it can calculate prayer times. It does not use your location.
Erase all data. Settings › Erase all data deletes your block lists, schedules, streaks, quiz answers and settings from your iPhone at once (it isn't available while a strict block is running). Deleting the app does the same. Your subscription is handled by Apple and stays with your Apple ID.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above. If a change affects how the app handles your information, we will describe it in the App Store release notes as well.
